What's a set of R91 5-spoke Bullets worth?

I've picked up a set of 17" R91s in silver. They are the optional wheel for a MCSc and were take offs with about 8 miles on them.

It's the rims/wheels only with center caps, no tires or lugs. Anyone got an idea of what these would go for? I'm not talking what MINI wants for them, something a little closer to reality  .

I haven't seen any on eBay and don't have a feel for a fair price, so what do you think???

I paid $330 + shipping for mine on eBay

I found a completed auction back in Feb for $400 plus $100 shipping, so your $330 was a good buy! Were they the 17's?

You want to get rid of them Smokey? I just posted yesterday I might be interested in a set.

Ok, guys thanks for all the PMs, but I haven't made up my mind yet on these.

My hope is to convince my wife that they will look great on her MINI when it arrives and I would make the ultimate sacrifice and take the web-spokes from her car.

BTW, it isn't going so well

My 2 cents

I sold the bullets from my MCSC not because I didn't like the wheels because I think they are one of the nicer wheels MINI offers. I wanted to put on some decent all season tires and found a buyer for the wheels and tires as a set. $500 -$600 would be a fair price if they are in pristine condition, IMHO. The bullets are easy to clean and look great. Downside is that they are a bit on the heavy side, but if performance isn't a big issue, I say put them on your wife's car!

From your lips to ...... well you know how it goes.

For a gal that just last year told me that the only things she wanted in her next car were; a CD player and heated seats!

She now is getting pretty savvy about options and improvements in the 05 model year

Actually the bullets are one of the lightest weight OEM 17" wheels, if not the lowest. The bullets run 20.6, while the web-spokes run 22.3, the s-lites are 25.1, the R-90's are 24.1 and the R-99 are 21.9.

If we're talking 17" wheels in general, and not OEM, I agree with you 100%.

I have a set of R91's fs any interest?

I got $750 for bullet wheels/SP9000 tires - 700 miles on them at time of sale. Probably could have gotten a bit more, but had new ASA's on the way.
