My IB/W, heavily modded, 2003 MCS is for sale
I see that you are commited alright - to some serious performance
. Not to dissuade the sale, as is, but I too might want a few items, if that's what it comes to...
Vented front fender-liners? I'm guessing these are for brake cooling... The RDR plates and car cover, if all-weather, sound interesting as well. I sound like a dang vulture
.
I bet you are glad now that you didn't go with aftermkt seats

ColoradoMark,
I LOVE YOUR RIDE!!~ I am also a IB/W Cooper S owner. All the mod you have in your car is everything I want to do to my ride! If you can solve the import issue to Canada, I am highly intreseted! Please quote me a price on shipping the ride to Vancouver BC. Canada. Thanx! Can't wait to hear from you!

17 inch wheels - they probably look big because the car is lowered so much.
Bisch, thanks for the better picture. Maybe if I can get her to stand in front of my car I can get $30k for it! (I'll have to talk to Grant, she lives in the area
)

Mark, very nice 993 in beautiful guards red I see. My old 911SC is a healthy getaway from the MINI on the weekends, consider keeping both and making the MINI your daily commuter (sell off some of the mods to make it more street-friendly).
would like to keep it - but the MINI doesn't work very well with my job. Kinda hard to put clients in the back seat!
There's someone on the board that might be interested in trading their Allroad for it - that might work, then I'll sell my other Audi instead.

well - since I'm not getting any buyers so far with all the mods I think I'll start taking it back to stock. The questions are: where do I start, and are there some of my mods that I should leave on for a buyer, even though they might want it relatively stock?
I was thinking of taking off the Unichip, rollbar, coilovers and Stoptechs, camber plates and lower control arm. Leaving the pulley, CAI, sway bar, gauges and Forge overflow tank. Sound like a reasonable plan?

Since you're thinking of parting out, I'd suggest getting it as close to stock as possible (picture something that would appear stock to a used car dealer lot). My rule of thumb for used aftermarket parts is 1/2 the price new. No matter what, you'll still be taking a big hit, but it's extremely rare to see a modded car bring in more than a stock one, and undoubtedly some buyers get scared off by modded cars.

Kind of depends on the part. Exhaust systems, CAI's don't usually deterioriate. Wheels may not look as pretty but work just fine. If its just dirty knock 35 off and I'll buy it.

I'd return it to "stock" and sell off the parts.
