Guages

Nice place for your aux gauges. Did you do that or did it come stock? If DIY, how did you do the install. I am planning on adding Oil temp and Volt below the toggles, but this looks awesome.

I bought the car with the aux package...but you can't see them below the toggles, so I moved them up....bought electric gages and used white led's for lighting...I had to cut the front bezel which it was very nerve wrecking but it came out pretty good...I think.

He's right. Even stripped, you're talking $26k PLUS tax. That's almost $28k out the door!

I wish.....I just bought a house and I'm doing a lot of changes to it....and a truck is in my mind now...I'm tired of renting trucks getting overcharged a gazillion dollars and a truck is the perfect solution to all my problems, and also easy payments will help me too, at $617 a month plus insurance for the JCW S, it is taking a chunk out of my wallet...I love this little bugger to death and nothing in its class can handle the way it does but I just can't have it anymore ....plus I bearly drive it, is just sitting in my garage, since I commute with my wife to work in her car. I've got the car in sep '03 and it only has 5700 miles, the car is a '04 JCW S.....a head turner...

MINISPIDER, try placing a free ad for your ride here: www.minimania.com

The ad is free and they allow you to upload 1 photo of the car also for free. That site also has good traffic and you can increase your chances of selling it there.

It is a beautiful car my friend, but in all honesty I think that most of the aftermarket mods could be working against you on selling it. You have been trying to get rid of it since the end of August!

Maybe you need to reduce the price a bit and take a loss (Which you already are) on the other mods you have.

Also consider listing the car on www.cars.com. I have heard is better than Autotrader.com.

Good luck.

It is possible. Get a bone stock MCS with no options and add the JCW kit, you'll be in the $26K-$27K ballpark before taxes and fees.

I tend to agree with you on the other comments....

I haven't tried to sell it that hard......My wife is giving me grief about selling it, so I have not post it any where else but here. ....I've got some money so I bought a pick up truck to move stuff around, so now I don't have to sell it that bad.....but now I'm looking into buying a corvette, so the Mini has to go first.....we'll see what happens. No rush tho.

LOL man! I think you are car addicted as I am! I personally will never give up a MINI for a Corvette (Not even the C6) but that's me.

If you can keep the MINI, by all means enjoy it! You seem to have put a lot of time and $$$ into making it "uniquely yours"

The Corvette is one expensive puppy, fuel thirsty and high insurance premiums...check before you buy. A 'Vette is like having 2 cars in one when it comes to maintenance costs.

Suggestion: If you are craving a RWD, V8 "Muscle" car, why not look into the new Pontiac GTO? Same engine as the corvette (5.7L V8, 400HP for '05), 6-speed manual, RWD, much better interior than any '01-'04 C5 Corvette, excellent fit and finish and high on the "Stealth" factor. I hardly see any on the streets of Miami.

Pontiac dealers are having a hard time selling them, so big $$$ discounts on them are likely.

You can seat 4 people very comfortably in the GTO and it is more "Practical" than the 'Vette. I bet insurance is less too.

I've test drove the pontiac GTO and honestly I hated it...the car is FUGLY and to me the interior looked very low budget. It does have ***** but is not eye candy, plus with that $ I can buy a very nice used low milage corvette. I test drove the new C6 last saturday and is a rocket but for $74000, with all options no way....!!!! I also test drove a used C5 coupe but did not like the color ( dark blue? ), also I'm looking for a Z05 not a coupe so here I am still looking....like I've said before, no rush.

It looks like a nice ride and a great deal price wise. Did you try to post an add in any of your local mini clubs?
