The Mule - for sale?
>>not the labor it took or the track and dyno time it took to set it all up and make it work . There are all the parts that work together on it now, and they don't just all mesh harmoniously - that's what took the time and miles to find!<<
That's true, but anyone who's ever built up a car (like this or a restoration) knows that people never figure time and energy into the price.

True.
I was actually offered 30K today on a phone call, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Logically, I'm sure I should have taken the offer, but emotionally - I didn't want to!

>>Randy,
>>Don't you have to pay ebay if you do reach a price that is within the reserve price range? This commision adds to the price of selling the car.
>>
>>Good luck with your auction.
Having just had Randy take me in a spin in 'The Mule' I'd say even at $34k it would be a steal.
But to follow-up on the eBay commision issue, different rules apply for vehicles. According to
this there would only be a $40 "Transaction Services Fee."

hey, what an opportunity. Am I the only one here who is struck by the sense of history that presents itself?! Imagine, if you had had the opportunity to buy Carol Shelby's test car or Enzo Ferrari's??? Surely, our friend Randy is going to win that level of recognition some day... the Mule WILL be priceless someday. Wish I had the money to put where my mouth is!
>>I suggest running a classified ad in Autoweek. Great audience and you are bound to get closer to the price you want based on the reader demographics.
Speaking of demographics Matt, has any one posted a thread to poll members for demographics? I'd love to see just who is buying/driving MINI's. Seems to be diverse group, much more so than say ricer cars etc. Age, gender, income range, and other typical categories as well as previous vehicle, mods or not would be interesting. I'll post this under MINI Talk and see if any one has the interest and ability to create a poll thread.
