Selling my S-Lites *2 down--2 to go* **IN STL 8/29-8/31**
Hi there. I'm selling my 17" S-Lite wheels. No tires--just the wheels. These were driven home from the dealer (about 40 miles) and then replaced with my old R90s. I've already sold the tires to a fellow MCOer, and TWO of the wheels have already been snapped up as well. First come first served! I'm on PayPal, by the way.
Shipping on these will be $30 for one wheel or $50 for two wheels. I am also willing to deliver within a reasonable distance to the midwest. I like road trips! I live in Chicago, so if you're wondering, just ask me!
I'm going to the Midwest Driver event in the St. Louis area next weekend. If anyone either in STL or who will be at the meet is interested in replacing a curb rashed wheel who wants to save shipping, PM me, and I'll make sure to bring them along! (Heck, I'm probably going to bring them anyway!)
In general the wheels look brand new. Exceptions are noted below.
Here's pics of the wheels:

Here's a picture of a tiny nick in the very edge of the lip of one wheel. I didn't notice it when the tires were on the wheels, so it's possible the the rubber from the tire covers it. But in any case it's seriously tiny. *UPDATE* I went ahead and touched up this nick with a "Pure Silver" Autovisuals pen, just in case it was visible with the rubber on the wheel. It's now basically invisible. The picture below was taken before touch-up.

There is some very light scuffing to two spokes of the other wheel. It was this way when I picked it up, but not a big enough deal for me to get worked up over. It's not visible from five feet away. *UPDATE* I have been able to touch up these scuffs with the "Pure Silver" Autovisuals pen, such that they are now only visible from within a foot or two at most. In the full wheel picture below, the affected spokes are the two directly below the MINI logo and the one immediately to its left. Obviously, I am well aware that there are others selling "perfect" wheels on this site (and others) and most people are buying these wheels to replace curb rash, and are looking for perfect replacements. I understand all this, and so I will obviously be more willing to "deal" on this wheel for anyone who is interested.

Please PM any offers to me here on the MCO, and we'll talk. Thanks for looking!

Have any idea of how much do you want for them? I have to add shipping costs to Portugal ( it may be send to Southborough MA01772 ( we have an office there) but I need to spend about 350 USD to send them to Portugal. Is it possible to tell me how much they weight?
Thanks.

Only 24 hours left until I put these on Ebay--and I have yet to get a single offer. Anyone? Anyone? Going once.....

OK. So I'm a little slow. These aren't on EBay yet. They're still available. Maybe everyone is ignoring them because there are tiny scratches on one of the wheels. I can't stress how small these scratches are. Very very small. Seriously. And look! There are so many MINI owners that live within my delivery parameters! It's really a phenomenal bargain! Why don't you make me an offer? See how low I'll go!

OK. After a friendly PM, I'm re-thinking things.
I would be willing to split these wheels up. In other words, if you have a curb-rashed S-Lite, you could replace it with one of mine...
Does this sweeten the deal for any one? I would really appreciate posts or PMs to let me know if you're interested; otherwise I'll just go the Ebay route.
Thanks!

You should ebay it. It would be much easier to sell it as a set and you only have to ship it once. Plus, I think you could get about $300 plus for the set. More, if you still had the tires.
Either way, good luck selling the wheels.

It's kind of odd to sell the set here, no? We all have MINIs or ordered one, right? And since they are stock wheels, if we wanted them we'd already have them, no? This is a friendly post, I just don't see how you'd sell them here/ Spliting them up however does makes more sense. And I agree with the other guy - on ebay probably as a set might be better.
Thanks for the friendly post. A few of reasons for selling here: people that decided they wanted them after the initial purchase (MC owners especially), people wanting to replace wheels that have been through an especially nasty winter and are shot, wanting to offer them to friends of MCO before the public at large, quick success selling tires here...
I hear you though. I'm sure they probably will end up on ebay...but I'm getting PM'd a time or two a day about them here, so once that stops, if they don' t sell.....Ebay time.

I have sold one of the wheels and added shipping costs and delivery info in my initial post. Please check it out if you've got curb rash issues!
Thanks!
