Hey guys, I am going to be moving to Chicago soon, and I am considering selling an R53S. Car was meticulously maintained by BMW, and pretty much every part was installed by the dealer also. Greg from Vista MINI was pretty much the only one to ever work on it, not sure if he is on here or not. I used for some autocross and Sunday drives.
Has a couple mods, full bolt on's, exhaust, Coil overs, top and bottom control arms, intake, and some other stuff which I we can talk about, there is just too much to list. I have been considering driving it up to Chicago through the dragon and some mountains for some fun turns, but I may end up shipping it if I dont sell it. I feel like I would rather sell it, so that it doesn't just end up parked in a garage in the city and pretty much forgotten. I dont really have time for it anymore.
Let me know if there is any interest, and we can talk more about it. I'm open for offers. I have an R59 too which I'm on the fence about keeping also. So let me know if there is any interest in either.

I’ll give you six thousand if you drive it to Maryland and fly back or five thousand if I fly down and drive it back as long as I can use your tag to get home and mail the tag back.. it has more miles then I’d normally buy but I could turn it into a track car for hpde trackdays

For your information since you’re so concerned about how many cars I’m looking to buy. I’ve made multiple offers for cars on here and I actually flew down to Florida and bought a car and when I got it back found out that the owner lied about 90% of what he did to it and I had to sync another $7500 into it Just to make it right. The reason for this post was I was talking to this guy at the same time that he was saying it was still available and I told him that I wanted it and we agreed that he would drive it to me. as he’s telling someone else that is still available. He told me that he would send pictures and videos the next day which was yesterday and that didn’t happen, so I got on this page last night after I didn’t hear from him all day and saw that he was telling someone else it was still available as I was texting him and telling him I wanted it, so I feel my comments were justified. Maybe you should worry more about yourself and what you want to buy than what other people want to buy.
If you want it leave a deposit, otherwise I don’t see what’s wrong with the seller telling others it’s available.
Plenty of people these days say they want something and do not follow through, don’t think airing your grievances online is doing yourself any favors with this seller.

I cant count how many times ive had people offer to buy something, even ask for shipping quotes ect and time comes to pay and theyre no where to be heard..
Thats all im saying , not trying to be hostile or insultive.
