Traded in my 2017 Mini Cooper Clubman S w/ HK System. The Bavsound + Match UP 7BMW install produced amazing sound, and coupled with a sub/amp in the boot was by far my favorite stereo system yet.

Paid $1,150 for both. Selling for $650 OBO.
Did you have to run the amp to the battery or was it a plug and play solution?
The Match UP 7 BMW amp is designed to be plug and play solution and is a really easy install.

Additionally, the amp has a sub-out coax line which eliminates the need for a line-out-converter in the case of a trunk sub/amp install, however, you would still need run power to that from the battery for a trunk sub/amp install.
