Can anyone recommend a good BBQ spot?

I will be stopping in Charleston on September 30 for the day/night, and have heard that S.C. is known for good barbecue.

Any recommendations? (and obviously, we don't mind a little drive :))

THANK YOU!!

Sincerely,
A once fat kid

Aww, I saw this too late. There are a couple of good places here in Charleston. Fiery Ron's if you like a dry rub rib. Momma Browns. JB smokeshack. Sticky fingers is good. My wife likes Jim n Nicks here. Bessinger's. You could actually go to a lot of good BBQ places.

Hey SC R60, thank you very much for the recommendations. We ended up only visiting Charleston for the day because we had a meet with Coastal Minis down in Savannah. AWESOME group.

Loved Charleston (and Savannah was one of our favorite cities on our trip). Will definitely be back. Can't wait to get some goooooood barbecue!

Thanks again,
Nate
