What about Sweatman's Barbque in Holly Hill. Its a little more than an hour from Columbia, and I would guess about the same from Charleston. I have never been there but I have heard it is amazing. Maybe it would be something cool to do in April when it gets kinda warm, and I am back in SC :wink wink:

Its only open on friday and Saturday, and its something you will only find in South Carolina

Graphic Communications ( Printing) I go through every dept. of the Plant, and work there for 2 weeks. I have been through 6 of my 15 weeks of my internship, and I cant wait to get back to South Carolina. I didnt realize how much I love the state.

I have been able to visit Washington once, and plan to visit again at least one more time and also visit Baltimore. But I absolutely hate where I am at ( Lancaster, PA)

lol he talks of long drives when on my very first MINI meet I went to Columbia to have breakfast an ended up going to Caesar's Head for lunch afterwards (had no clue that was the SC/NC state line) ; doubt if it would take an hour to get to Holly Hill from here.

I'm down for either/or. Let's try and set it up, I'll have to take a Sat. off but that's cool,I think I already have the 10th/11/th off, so it will work out.

Glad yer back man! Sorry I couldn't make the party; I was in Myrtle Beach at the AutoX all day and was sunburned and wiped out after the drive back. I'll see yaz next Sunday at Hooters though.

 

Chad and I were talking and we had an idea if you guys are up for it.

How about a little meet and mod at my house?

I still need to get my headers installed (they have only been in the box for a year now) and it weekends are best for him and for me. I have a fair assortment of tools and plenty of alcohol as well.

I will also have Matthew from AZ out that weekend (AKA Brewswapguy) so it might be a fun time. If you guys have anything you want to get done that is not too labor intensive I am happy to help out as is Chad (although you may want to plan for a donation to him, not me for his time and this is my thought not his as he says no but I think it is only fair).

Maybe some free help will get more than 3 people or maybe the free alcohol will. If you want I can plan to fire up the grill and cook some burgers and such as well. I'm happy to host.

Let me know what you guys think and we can plan for it. I might be better if we do it earlier than the usual time to start if you want or Chad and I can get started earlier and you guys can roll in whenever.

Let me know if this sounds cool and I can get you the info. I live just down the road from Buffalo South on James Island on the way towards Folly.

I am down for a mod meet as well. I plan on ordering springs soon, and while I have changed out many a spring before, friends and beer always make it go easier.

 

I'll verify with Chad if he is still in and if LowcountryS and Bad2dabone are in then I am all for it. I just don't want to bust up the regular meet (not that I have been to many).

Anyway..... I'll wait to hear and then PM details from there.

I just realized that the meet is this coming Sunday and not next.

What do you guys think about it being the 22nd instead of the 15th?

If it needs to be the 15th I can still do it I guess but Brewswapguy won't be in from AZ until the following weekend and he was game for the meet and brew and mod event.

Please let me know what you guys prefer as soon as you can.

Well, this weekend is good for me, so I am going to have to say the 15th. I will be back in Kuwait by next weekend.
