thats why I picked Sundays for the original day. At least 2 of us, sometimes 3 or 4 (me, David, Chad&Nick occasionally) work on Saturdays. We'll get it back on Sundays next month. If we can get a consistent thing going, I'll have Jim put it in Saturdays Auto section along with all the other club meets. Something like "the Lowcountry MINI Club is holding it's monthly meeting Sunday DATE @ 1pm, @ HOOTERS. Casual get together to meet, eat, and discuss MINI related happenings. All MINI enthusiasts are encouraged to come out and meet fellow owners." Just a thought.

 

Then why wasn't this Sunday chosen?

I think that Saturday was chosen to avoid it falling directly on Father's day and then the weekend was changed and the Saturday stuck.

Totally agree, far less people have to work on Sunday than Saturday for the future meetings. Besides, if it falls on a Saturday that I have to work, I will deny all of your warranty claims when you come in.....

yeah Chris, we originally had the 15th down, cause we were doing the 3rd Sunday of the Month for the meetings, but this one fell on Father's Day so, it was changed. Hawg mentioned he would be in town on this Sat for MINI service so it was changed so he could come also since he doesnt get here that often. Thought everyone had seen the date change (sorry David can't make this one tho, ), but maybe Chad and I will see him next Sat at the AutoX . I can only hang out for a little while and then have to go to work at 3. See yaz there!

Baseball draft happened in the last couple days and i have to do phone interviews with 4 of the players the yanks drafted. Doubtful im gonna make it b/c i have to sit by the phone all day..

I enjoyed 2 of the 3 thrashings of TB this week at Fenway. Shame I couldn't be there last night to see Coco charge the mound.

On Wednesday night I was sitting 3 rows off the dugout, holy crap was that amazing.

Had a great time again today! Only 5 of us showed ( slackers! ) Wish I'd had my camera, but was in a rush and had to bail early for work also. We'll have to get a better turnout next time.
