Gotta check on that... I always loved those seats! One of my favorite features in the R32!

They are absolutely beautiful - I saw them in a sneak peak brochure from my dealer a while back. I wonder how much they would be Pretty sure for what they will want you could purchase your own Recaro seats and have them finished! They would be on my wish list that's for sure!

 

i don't think they will bring them to the u.s. market

 

Will these ever be for sale in the U.S.?

If so, I wonder if they'd fit in an 06 MCS?

We can only hope so.

 

Looking at the past JCW seats I dont think that these seats will come to the US. However you can buy the same seats from Recaro they just wont have the cool JCW logo

 

They will fit, but you need to fit the brackets to fit the first gen MINI.

The JCW seats are the same as the Recaro CS Hybird Sport Seat...





And they are at 1400usd each

Do you know if those seats work in the R53? (oops already answered before my post...thanks!)
BTW: I like them better without the JCW logo crap on it. Minimalist black seems more elegant.

 

If you get them they have got to be leather the alacantra are so ugly they cost £700 each in the Uk

 

I have had the Recaros. They are perfect for spirited driving. They are narrow and hip hugging. You don't have many options in terms of height.

 

When I was last in the UK, I asked about the JCW seats, (which used to be Sparco and are now Recaro) They don't support the airbags so won't be easily available in the states. Too bad. They look awesome!

 

Aren't there airbags in the R56 seats? Are the Works versions going to have the appropriate airbags?

 

The REcaro JCW seats for R56 have the airbags. The Sparco for R53 don't.
