Hello guys, having F56 jcw 2017 with standard exhaust. Initially was thinking to have JCW Pro exhaust install. After some reading online, noticed that the performance gain are mainly for MCS since jcw standard vs pro different are muffler and flap and no reprogram needed for cooper jcw.

From online, when flap is opened you will gain +8hp compared to close. From my understanding when flap is opened, it is straight pipe.
Will I have similar performance if I res delete my standard exhaust which will make it a straight pipe too? It will be like Pro exhaust with flap always open?

Keep the resonator, remove the muffler. Then, it will be like Pro exhaust with flap open.
