Has anyone replaced stock battery with a Braille21 Lightweight battery?
Just wondering if anyone has done this and if it was pretty simple to do...trying to lighten up the front a bit...this battery is less about half the weight of stock battery...
Smaller and lighter...will probably line the interior box with lightweight foam to help hold battery in place...will see what works best when changing it over.
i use the Voltphreaks VPR-P6. 6lbs, auto-shut off for low voltage conditon; on/off switch. held in place perfectly with a Rennline kit. i also removed the factory battery box for better air flow in the engine bay....air exhausts up and out by the windshield

I am adding the NM Strut Brace and thought about removing the Rubber Gasket along the top side of the engine bay across the windshield to get better airflow...
Racing this weekend at COTA (Circuit of the Americas)...AutoX
Battery after this weekend...some form of lighter battery and setup
Note: I really do think that relocating a super light battery (lithium) to the rear area would be most beneficial...just don't know about $1K+ for a battery...plus cables and tie down apparatus...

I have the NM as well and removed the gasket....it does improve air flow out of the engine bay.
There is plenty of room in the rear for a battery, but the weight of the cables would work against the concept. Coil overs are a more effective means of influencing weight distribution. And, my caster/camber adjustable Nitrons just showed and replace the V2’s next week! Booyah
