Need help finding Duell AG ordering website
 

Hi gang - ok...so I have been going around and around in circles trying to find a site to get pricing, and ultimately purchase some body parts from Duell AG. So I can easily find their "gallery" page, where you can view hundreds of pics, but that's all I can find! The weird thing is that about 8 months ago not only did I find the US distributor, but I was all set to purchase their vented hood (around $1700 US), their rear wing, their stripe kit (available from other sites), and their decals for both body and windows. I was on the phone with this guy on and off for about 1 week, and all I needed from him was the shipping charges. The guy called me back at the end of the week, and told me that he just got fired. So I wasn't able to order anything. So all my info was on my AOL email account, which got hacked forcing me to delete all emails. So I simply can't find out how to order this stuff!

Can anybody help with me with this? It's the second to last thing I'm doing to my car....as far as mods. The last thing is a custom install of a Blinder Laser Interceptor. The pic I'm showing is a perfect match of my car. Same color scheme, same year, and all the body parts, stripes, and decals that I want. So my car will essentialy look like the car in the pic, minus that front lip. As you can see by my sig I've got a '16 f56 JCW. I don't think there would be any difference to a f56 MCS. The pic is also a JCW.

Yep we carry them now and are adding more and more as it comes available. :) We are excited.

I will go online and check out what's available. Of all my mods... about half of them have come from ECS, I have spent a lot of time on that site. I'll see what they have to offer. Right now I want the vented hood, the rear wing where the tips look like a slice of pizza, and the stripe kits and both body and window decals. Pretty much like the JCW that I showed in that pic. Now I'm also interested in the body colored wheel trim. I don't know if Duell sells them, or if these guys are going into a paint shop and sanding the trim, then painting them with matching body color, then clear coating them. I have a guy locally that does this for Mini and BMW's, and does a great job. However if I can buy them and save some coin I will go with that option.

I placed an order on the 13th and now I'm getting an arrival date of late July to Aug 15th. I won't hold my breath. I have total faith in ECS Tuning, it's Duell AG I'm worried about. We'll see how long it actually takes, would love to see some Duell AG MINI's in SoCal.

If you don't mind me asking.....what did you end up buying? Like I mentioned earlier I want the vented hood, their rear wing, stipe kits for the sides (also available from other places), and logos for both the sides of the car, and the windows.

Ended up buying the Front JCW Bumper Lip Spoiler. I believe I just received another email stating delivery now mid August. To be honest, I just delete them and don't even look at them anymore. It shows up when it shows up.

So it sounds like you're talking about that lower lip that shows up in the pic that I posted. I actually really like that lip....I'm just concerned about that for myself because I have so many speed bumps in my area. But again....very cool!

Yes I just lowered my JCW last week and I just clear the parking blocks now. When I add the front spoiler I know I won't clear, but that's ok, all my cars have been lowered and with spoilers. So I'm used to it.

I haven't actually ordered what I was going to yet. I had a similar type purchase from ECS last month (FI Exhaust) and ended up cancelling it. I'm going for mods I can get in the short term at the moment.

No worries at all! I'm in no rush. I'm one of those guys who researches the hell out of stuff before buying.

Ok so here is another question. When you look at the hundreds of pics showing all the different Duell body parts, one thing I've noticed is pretty much every car has body matching wheel well trim. So proper body color, AND clear coated as well. Does anyone know if Duell sells these "body matching" wheel well trim? I don't see anything on the ECS site, but that doesn't mean they don't make them. Across the street from my dealership is a auto and body shop, that Mini AND BMW use pretty much exclusively for their paint jobs. The owner...John, offers this deal where he pulls the plastic trim off the car, sands them down, then applies the proper body color paint (Midnight Black in my case), then applies clear coat. I've seen a few Mini's that have had this done. They look just like the pics from the Duell site.

Does anybody know if you can actually buy this trim? Duell or anyone else? It's definitely something I want for my car. Thanks!

Those are just paint matched fenders thats are factory black then sanded primed and painted. Its common with most of the people that install that kit over in Japan and surrounding countries.

That's what I thought. Makes total sense. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I've got a "paint guy" that does the same thing. It looks great when they do that! I'm surprised that more Mini owners in the states don't do this. I mean dealing with the plastic even from a maintenance perspective, is kind of a PITA. You have to keep "product" on the plastic constantly, especially if you're parking in heavy sun. Those things will fade quickly. If you paint and clear coat them, you can use a nice medium polish followed by a fine polish, then a sealer, and not only will they continue to look great, you don't have to keep applying the plastic protectant.

Yep! That's the look I am going for! I can't tell, but did you have you lower side trim done as well? It kind of looks like you did. I am actually going to have those side trims painted chili red, to match my top. I haven't decided yet if I want the sanded, painted, then clear coated. I'm thinking of just having them painted.
