JCW not more power but dont want to void warranty

Sure, the Dinan has problems and so do the JB4 and NM module. It's not really Dinan's fault the guy took his car to a non-Dinan certified dealer instead of contacting Dinan or at least touching base with both Mini AND Dinan. I got a CEL with the code P12A9 code and the first thing I did after getting home was to install the bypass and contact Dinan. That's just common sense if you're using a piggyback tuning box. You're bound to run into problems when modding so you need to at least have a basic knowledge of troubleshooting problems when they arise. It sucks that the guy had a problem with his Dinan, one that sounds more serious than the one I had with mine, but his sole experience isn't a good representation of Dinan just as mine on its own isn't either. There are way more people that never had an issue running a piggyback but you rarely hear about them because people don't normally post on forums "I made X modification 3 years ago and it's still working great!" You usually just hear about the times when someone runs into an issue.

JB4 and Dinan are both available for the F54. I was using a JB4 piggyback with some success prior to getting a tune. Honestly, a tune is a solid option for the F54 -- and paired with a catless or sportscat downpipe and larger intercooler (be aware, some intercoolers won't fit nicely in the F54 body due to possible differences in the crash bar / slam panel), the F54 can be really zippy to scoot around in.
I would suggest a piggyback tuner like the JB4 as a first option. You'll get some good oomph out it.
