I like mechanical gauges for the simplicity and reliability. I have this one in my Clubman:

I am very fond of the P3 vent mounted gauge, but could not see spending that much.
So instead I went a different way. I had a mechanical autometer gauge for a bit, but it just wasn’t very accurate and it was noisy! After couple of tries, lol, I ended up with a Prosport EVO digital boost gauge. It reads from the boost tap like a mechanical gauge but goes to an electric sending unit. I put it in a gauge pod with a small prosport gauge visor to reduce glare. I am very happy with it. It’s accurate (tested against obd2 readings) and it looks good to, with a digital numerical readout along with a bar dial as well. Slap that sucker next to the tach and your good to go! Lol. ECS Tuning has them, I got mine on Amazon for a couple bucks less. It’s not an exact match, but with the red light wired up, it’s close to the factory orange.

^^ thats awesome. They match pretty well with the red touches that are led in the MINI. Not a match for the amber stock color.

There are a bunch of different ones out there. There are some that will mount off the back of the tach, there are vent mount kits. It depends on what you like and want to do. I didn’t want to make any holes anywhere if I could avoid it. I picked up a plain old black universal gauge pod with the gauge and the visor, it isn’t too big, and the depth is just right to butt against the dash so the wires slip right down inside under dash and are hidden nicely. That pod is made to be screwed or bolted on, but not wanting a hole if I move it, I went and got some industrial strength Velcro and double sided tape......and there it is! Ha ha
It sounds totally half-assed, I know. But it really worked great. It’s in there right as can be, stuck to the steering column and the side of the tach. You can’t even tell. I just need to paint the screws on the base black.

In case you want a different mount I did find this one, it reminds me of when I had my SS HHR.
