JCW How to properly launch a 2011 jcw from a dig?

Maybe if your car is stock that works. But for a car that has mods with an ecu tune, revving to the limit will just have you spinning trying to find grip. And you also will suffer from traction loss if you still got RFT's on.
For good take offs from a dig if you have mods, you need non-runflats that are grippier and wider (at least 215 width), and take DSC off. I rev to no more than 4K then take off and don't start speed-shifting until after im already in 2nd gear going to 3rd, and so on thru the rest of the gears. I also noticed that I dont go any faster in 6th than I can in 5th. Maybe that has something to do with my software but my redline is raised to 7200.

press and hold traction control unitl the light indicates on your wheel display, that its "off"
*~4000-4200 on the rev to try and keep at or above 3k when you dump the clutch.. got to hold the throttle steady though until it hooks or youll just smoke tires to redline. On street and OEM runflats, my best recorded time is a 13.8
