Need lowering springs ?? Please help!!

Hi

I have a F56 JCW 2019 and I just installed a 18x8 et45 Enkei kojin wheels with 235/40/18 tires.

some people recommend me to put lowering springs (HR, eiback, etc), but I am worried to have problems/rubbing because my wide tires 235.

what do u think? recommend me?

i use ST spring with 18x8 et45 OZ HLT GT with 225 40 18 ( no spacer ) , more lower about 3cm , my rear wheel almost rubbing .

i think 235 40 18 with lowering spring will be a problem ...

ur car is same colour with me , silverwhite ...

Looks like you're sitting pretty high. Personally I'd tell you to go with some KW V2s as you can adjust them right where you want.
But for just a set of lowering springs we've been really happy with the Craven springs

I ran NM springs with 215/45X17 tires on 7.5 inch NM wheels with offset of 40. It dropped the car ~1- 1.5 inches. No clearance issues with mine. But with your tire size and looking at your pictures I would say you’re gonna have a clearance problem.

I have to ask the obvious.

Your MINI sits higher than most.
Did you check to see if the shipping blocks are still wedged in the springs???

It appears that his new tires have a lower sidewall than the stock wheels, which make it look like it sits higher.
