Seemed like forever before I got my VIN, then the next thing I knew my car's id was shown as loaded on a ship -- then came the hurricane season....
The only thing that might cause delay, other than the way they batch the JCW production, is the changeover that happens this time of year.
Lounge is rarely, if ever, current. The dealer can get more reliable and more current production info. MAs know enthusiasts want frequent updates, so it's okay to ask them to keep you posted....
And remember, they don't get paid until they deliver the car to you, so the dealer wants it to happen yesterday. That's a good thing.
I like the color choice.

" Dang! I ordered on June 1st and no VIN yet. Did you order a JCW? I do not think you can add JCW Pro exhaust after they place the order."
Not after unless the dealer can put in a request at the VDC install or just do it at the dealership before delivery.

Get the name of vessel it is/will be on from dealer. Then go to 2wglobal.com, click on schedules, then click "by route" tab. choose from Europe to North America and find said vessel. Will give dates it arrives at each port, though can change as ours did. There is one that is supposed to be leaving Southampton the 23rd and getting to Cali 8/17, the Don Carlos, will probably be on that one. Also can google it, wont be able to track once in middle of Atlantic (unless you pay a fee)

Give them your order number or the last seven digits of your VIN. I’d be surprised if they cannot help you out. That was the best source of tracking & location info when I was watching my car.
Good luck!

after numerous calls to ASK MINI and dealer they finally told me that my car is in DON CARLOS which is going to be in CA this Friday. There is a huge miscommunication between the factor, dealers and ASK MINI line since they all said something different last week. Any idea how long it takes to get to the dealer? Will I be able to drive my car Sunday?

All cars are given a quality control check at the VDC, where multiple things can happen. Any damage that occurred during shipping may be corrected, the cars have to clear Customs inspections, and some installs such as head & tail light trim rings may be done. Once your car is released from the VDC it's loaded onto a transport & taken to your dealer. Your dealer will then a pre-delivery QC check, remove the wrapping applied for shipping, wash & gas it, etc.
I'll guess that you get a call to pick up your car early in the week after the ship docks: Monday or Tuesday'ish. I hope it's sooner but I'm afraid the processing & transport will take more than 48 hours.

If you really wanna stand watch & keep track of the ship's position, try this site. Click the Route Forecast button to see where she is on the water, and you can also see expected dates of arrival at port. According to this, Don Carlos will reach Hueneme on Saturday, Aug. 18. My bet is you'll have your car by Friday the 24th.
Not much longer man, hang in there!

I'd love to see a pic with the front spoiler installed when you get a chance
You may not sleep much tonight, but it'll be oh-so worth it!
