Attached to the front bumper. The engine won't affect it.

when I raise the speed, the outdoor temperature sensor slowly descends
and if at a time of congestion, the outdoor temperature sensor slowly rises
any idea why?
whether the sensor will interfere with engine performance?

There is another sensor that the car uses for engine performance, it is located inside the air inlet where nothing else can affect it.

Don't worry too much. The sensor is located in the front bumper, far forward from the engine. It is only there to tell you the outside temperature in the car's display, and to tell you it might be icy out when it gets to 37.
