HELP!! Overheated!!
2014 JCW Countryman 79000 miles. I had water pump, belt and tensioner changed. Picked up the car last Sat. morning 04/21, drove 13.5 miles got a "CEL", pulled over, car stalled and would not start. Called shop who sent a ramp truck, meanwhile I found the lower radiator hose not connected to the radiator and no coolant anywhere. Shop has not gone through the engine yet. Give me your honest thoughts!!
UPDATE 04/26: Owner of the shop, H&M Motor Works, called today. He acknowledged the lower radiator hose being off of the radiator. They took compression readings and said they were all low. They filled the cylinders with "fluid" and will retest in the morning and get back to me. I have only owned this "sweetie", my first, for 8 months and this shop has done all of my maintenance. They seem to have integrity and be upfront.

This shop has a very big problem.
I hope you took pictures of lower hose not connected. A JCW engine will not be easy to find and very costly but their insurance will pay.
