Ok, so I found a cherry/minty r53 jcw but the seller and I just couldn't come to an agreement. bummer.

but now I have been bit by the bug! I want a 05-06 jcw car.
I prefer low miles, bolt ons are cool, manual is a must(and non negotiable)

what do you guys have for sale? everything has a price right?

Well you're not going to find an R53 JCW with anything other than a manual, because they were never available with an automatic gearbox

Had two AP1s, a silver 03 and a yellow 02. Would still have one if I could fit in it and ride comfortably. That stick, throw of maybe 2".

Below is a nice low mileage 06 JCW slicktop. A few mods and the thing would hang with a s2k and might stomp it on some tight twisties. Do not know if the car is still available.

I’ve already talked to the owner of that one, that’s exactly what I’m looking for
We are on opposite coasts though....still heavily considering it

I looked for mine almost a year. Then prepare to jump on it, as they don't last on the market for very long!
I wish you every success and will post up, if I find one I don't want!

When I bought mine there were two 2006 JCW R53s for sale in the northeast corridor (DC to NYC). One was 5 miles from my house that I hesitated on and it went to the dude in Maryland who has 3 or 4 factory JCW cars now. I traveled to DC to get mine right after that. My car is nice, but the one that was local was nicer. I balked at the asking price, thought about it for a couple weeks and then got back in touch with the owner the day after he sold it.

So yeah, you're going to have to travel and/or wait if you really want to find the car you want.

Also, buy a 2006. Period.
