New tires after only 10k miles?
Just took my 2020 Cooper S JCW in for 10k mile service and I was told I need me tires on the front. I do drive aggressively, but not that aggressively. I don't spin the tires on takeoff, they are not squealing in the curve. How can I need new ones after only 10k?

what do they look like? Determining tire wear or damage is not rocket science. Are the wear bars showing? Do they pass the penny test?

is there irregular wear?

I finally got around to checking the treads myself. The wear is even, so no alignment issues. I have about 5mm when measured from the center of the valley between the treads. The tires are Pirelli Cinturato P7. I have always heard that Pirelli's are good tires and I just figured with a wear rating of 500, they would last 40-50k miles. I plan on putting Michelin pilot sport all season tires on next. I know sport tires are not long life tires, but does anyone have info on how many miles they get out of a set of pilot sports, if not tracked and only driven on the road.
