JCW clutch slip

clutch slip
OK. 2009 Factory JCW with 14,000 miles. A couple of times now when I accelerated hard my clutch seemed to slip just a little bit before catching. I've done all the different checks for a clutch problem but they all seem good. This clutch has felt a little bit soft in the peddle compared to my old MCS. Am I looking at a clutch replacement already?
Thanks

14k miles on a 2009. Was this your original car? or did you just pick this up? The previous owner might have beat on this car which could be causing the slip.
What gear are you slipping in? Mine slips a little in 3rd and 6th gear, but I have 50k miles on mine and I've driven it hard since I got it back in 2009.

When was the last time the car was fully serviced?
You may need all the fluids to be flushed if you are at 14K for so long without driving yourself or neither the previous owners.
There is no reason a clutch should not last well over 100K in normal driving conditions.
