JCW with engine mods?

My company offered me a great deal on a cooper S equip w/ JCW, but I do have couple questions before I go ahead pull the trigger. What comes with the JCW kit? Since Cooper work has better charger and cylinder head, can I still replace any aftermarket S/C pulleys, cams, lightweight flywheel, and full exhaust system? TIA

Check out this site.

05 JCW I believe has:
Upgraded head
Upgraded injectors
Upgraded SC
Cat back exhaust
ECU tweaks
You can always do more mods with the JCW but part of the point of the kit is that it is more power with the benefit of waranty coverage. If you go modding your JCW you may be risking your waranty.

The 03 JCW has these goodies (like my car): new spark plugs, supercharger, ported and polished cylinder head, intercooler cover, catback exhaust, ECU flash, exterior badges, and the certificate signed by Mike Cooper.

The 05 JCW kit adds the following: cold air intake/new airbox, bigger fuel injectors, and another ECU flash. You can add these items to an 03 as part of an "upgrade kit" like I'm planning to do with my car.

I recently drove an 03 MCS JCW at a dealership...I did this because I was having the JCW installed on my car, which also happens to be an 03. The difference is that mine also has a couple of other goodies on it...mainly, I have a/m headers. I find that mine has more power than the other one I drove...now I might be biass here, because it's my baby and all, but I really do feel that way.

Also, the jcw replaced a bunch of mods I had done to the car...in fact, it replaced all of my engine mods except for the larger tb and to be honest with you, the car feels much better now than it did with my handpicked off the shelf mods...

so to answer your question, definately get the JCW and then do whatever you want to it like larger tb, full exhaust, CAI/HAI, etc...I'm pretty sure that an 03 jcw is no longer under warranty anyway (or close to the end anyway.) But as far as power goes, there is good power there

I believe you can ad the new '05 JCW enhancements like the airbox and injectors for around $600 or so.
