Best JCW/r56 pad for initial bite?

I'm looking for better pads than the stock JCW. I'd like some better initial bite and modulation/feel. I dont care about dust or longevity, and I'll never track the car, so a low temp capable pad is ok.

Any recommendations?

I like to say if you ask an opinion here you may get as many as there are members.

I went with EBC Yellow Stuff. Yes have brake dust but wow how they will bite. Yellows may not be the best for tracking but they do not require heat build up for them to bite. I also like the contrast with the red JCW front calipers (I painted my rear units red).

Read up on the Yellow Stuff, they have good bite cold. Allot more opinions in the Tires, Wheels and Brake section.

Mega, are you seeing the bite once warm, ie on track, or daily driving? How are the hawk on your rotors. When I used to track my vette they ate up my rotors pretty bad- lots of gouging. switched to carbotech after which were great.. no carbotech option for mini it looks like though.
