I know that the design is not for everybody, but if you like rims that you can clean in minutes and you like "5 star" idea go for these...

I like these wheels also, but sadly they weigh a ton! Like 24 LBS.
I would like wheels that lessen the load for my summer driving. Wheels somewhere in the neighborhood of 16 or 17 pounds makes more sense to me.

Looking good! I'm a big fan of the s-lites. Heavy or not, I think they're a great looking wheel on the MINI.

Looks great. I like classic look of S-lites too, but not as much with the Aero kit. The NM RSe05 or BBS R90s both would do the trick, but wheel choice is highly subjective.

Great looking JCW! In regards to wheels, if you want to make your Mini LOADS more fun to drive, go with a noticeably lighter wheel. The heavier wheel options slow the car, increase braking distance, and lessen the handling.

Bigger wheels may look better to a lot of folks, but they're generally heavy wheels, unless you're spending LOTS of money. Go smaller, go lighter, and go faster!

Nice to see all these aero kit MINIs, lots of the kits are going NLA and now the front fog light inserts are NLA. Its going to be a very rare thing here soon.

Some that are left, most gen 1 and gen 2 painted kits are NLA. Get them while you can, lots of older JCW stuff has gone NLA also. So if you see it, jump on it. Just talked about that here.

Pricing on the R53 parts has also shot through the roof, too.

For example, the door seals are ridiculously expensive now. I replaced mine last year when I acquired my 2006, and I went to check pricing on another set for a friend and they're nearly triple the cost.

Sabjcw, what are those awesome wheels you have? And what is the tire size you are rolling with?
