HELP! Problems with stock JCW fronts struts
Hi everyone,
Looking for a little help / advice. Quick back story: doing a lot of track events and without being able to dial in some negative camber I am cording tires pretty quickly. So I went up to Vorshlag and bought their camber plates that fit the stock suspension.
Ok, with me so far? Removed both struts and compressed the springs and tried to remove the bolt that holds the stock spring perch to the strut assembly. I tried and tried to remove that bolt. But to no avail. I even broke some tools in the process. I understand that you need an allen wrench and then a 21mm socket. I just could not break the bolt, like it is frozen. It's funny, I watched a youtube video and it looked so easy to loosen that bolt....not for me.
So does anybody have a trick or you have done it before and can lend me a hand if you are in the DFW area? You will be well rewarded to beer!
Thanks in advance!
