But, why not simply try non-runflats on the stock wheels first?
I’ll try running less air first. Non run flats would certainly be a better ride but then I’d have to lug a spare around, which is my least favorite choice. If I can fit a 205/50/17 I’ll go with that option in a run flat tire. (I swear my Pirelli RF were smoother than these Hankook RF) Just not sure of the fit. Diameter would go from 24.3” to 25.1”.

Instead of a spare I carry a VIAR kit (small high quality high pressure 12V compressor kit.) and a dynaplug kit. The VIAR kit has room for some tools as well. It does work as I have used it. I run Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+s and I like them. They are not as grippy as the MPSS, but they are not a summer only tire either and I run a lot in the winter. The Tail is basically deserted then. I am running with the 18" OEM cup wheels, 215s work fine for me. The 225s will rub sometimes in hard cornering from what my running buds tell me.

I agree with what Dan said....I have the Pirelli P7 summer tires so the Hankooks may be worse ride quality wise....the P7s aren’t that rough but they do lose grip under spirited driving conditions. I will probably do similar to Dan when the time comes or go with NM wheels & non-runflats.

Thanks all.......since I love the car, but hate the tires/ride I'll either go with a 50 series RF for more sidewall, or order a spare tire, wheel spacer and go with conventional tires. Any reason many of you switch to NM wheels with regular tires instead of running on stock rims?

The NM wheels are lighter and they offer a different look that some prefer. Also they are wider at 7.5” & 8” I believe so fitting wider tires are easier to fit. As you will learn though wider width tires can rub very easily so many only mod conservatively to avoid rubbing.
