I believe an 18" x 7.5" rim with 215/40/18's might be the ticket, even though they may throw the speedo off a wee bit.

I doubt anything wider will work on the F56 from what I've seen so far...time will tell.
18x7.5 45-42 et with a 215/35/18 wont scrub but the 215/40/18 is taller and will scrub.

I just had 225/40/18's installed today on the stock JCW cup spoke wheels. I'm running 12mm H&R spacers on the front and 15mm on the rear. No issues at all.

FWIW - I also called Jerry @ NM today to ask about their wheels because two of my wheels are slightly bent. They balanced but I will probably replace after this winter. He said he can modify the VW wheels to fit however they are 18x8 and he said the 215's rub when cornering hard. So the 225's will be an issue. He believes if I run 5mm spacers it will center the wheel and have no issues. I owe him a few pics of my setup so he can determine what will fit.

No, they are 7" wide (configurator mis-listed them @ 7.5")

I'll take some pics later today. It's snowing this morning. I can confirm my two-tone cup spoke wheels are 7.5". Not sure others state they are 7".

Really? Part number end in 900? Where is it stamped on the wheel? I was told by multiple sources they were 7". Good news if they were wrong. I have not had the wheels off my car to check!

I can't see the part number now. I used a good ole tape measure. They are approx 8.5 outside edge to outside edge. Miles Ahead runs 225's on the same wheels.

I think this tire size will work best with no issues on 18x8.
Slightly shorter (for lowered cars) & only .4 inches wider on the inside and outside.

A 225 on a 45et will not fit without a 5mm spacer and will be 5-8mm past lip of fender

Should look trick plus the brake calipers will be visible & easy to clean. The oem track spoke 205-45-17 all season's will stay on for the winter.

The finish is 1st rate. A bargain for such a lite weight wheel @ just over 1k.

WHy is it 9" wide? Shouldn't it be 8?
