Opinions?
Wanting to spice up (not that MINI's need more spice, but what the heck!) my new 2017 Rebel JCW Convertible.
Full red mirror caps or JCW Pro caps?
Leaning toward the Pro's.
If anyone has them on their Rebel MINI, would love to see pics.
Mine: Black/gray standard Dinamica interior, solid black soft top, 18" Dual Tone Cup Spoke wheels......adding black JCW bonnet stripes
Thx

This may be correct for the JCW configuration...
HOWEVER, my extensive research over the past 3 years with the 2017 Clubman S All4 in burgundy and melting silver has confirmed that it is, without a doubt, the JCW steering wheel with red stitching that is the critical variable for producing extra speed. The Dinan may help, a little, but I know it's that JCW logo on my Clubby's steering wheel that accounts for the extra grunt. Truth.
Glad to clear all that up.

Although I like a clean bonnet, I can see how stripes could contribute to this perspective!
Now this is evidence-based research! Thanks for clarifying!

Thanks! I love this car in every way: from the looks to the performance to all the intangibles. First brand-new car for me ever and a spec order at that, so it's even more special.

MINIs tend to have that effect! And a brand new car specked to your taste is certainly a treat! As you can tell from my signature, I'm not a MINI newbie, but, a bright MINI would be a first for me...! Always thought MINIs didn't need "loud" colours to stand-out, but my personal taste is also on the conservative side. With that said, I think it's time for a change! MINIs can certainly be bold, and so can I!

If I get a new JCW, I will most likely be deciding between Starlight Blue and Moonwalk Grey. Moonwalk Grey seems to have a good fan base as well!

Nice Knight edition!

Yes a Knights edition, I think the 18" wheels look good too, the dealer had changed them at some point. I should change the chrome belt line (?) trim to black me thinks. It's the first ever car I have bought off the lot and never ordered, so it's not exactly how I would have done it (cloth seats for example), but overall it's good. It's way more fun than my 2017 Golf R.

One time color for only 500 JCW's. Connaught Green on a 2010 John Cooper Works World Championship 50. A hand painted color after being pulled off the line. The base color is black with the green over it. These cars are registered as black.
