NM vs AEM CAIs

I did a quick search and didn't see a post on these so thought I'd ask. What are opinions on AEM vs NM CAI? Sound? Fit? Both seem to have a brace that will fit over them. The NM looks a bit more 'custom' I guess but AEM comes with a turbo cover whereas the NM one is extra. NM is also about $100 more that I've seen so far.

Thoughts?

NM will give you more sound. Very little sound with the AEM (I have this one). In terms of power, the stock intake is perfect. If anything get the JCW intake (if for power).

Stock = as much power as aftermarket.
NM = Sound
AEM = Looks with a little more sound than stock.

In terms of performance, it has been found the best intake is the JCW cone filter intake and not an aftermarket version. People will still use an AEM/K&N/aFe filter, but the JCW upgraded intake.
