GP2 ECU software on 2013 JCW

besides the aero diffuser and wing of the GP as the main difference.
Also, are the inside of the engine the same?
Or more robust pistons, etc?

anyone done a GP2 ECU flash on an regular JCW?
I am not sure if that's even possible.

Thanks.

Engine is the same between JCW and GP2. The software is different and cannot be switched unless done outside the dealer. All dealer software updates are per VIN. From what I understand the GP software has different off throttle map. So it Pops and bangs more when decelerating.

We Manic tuned a 2013 JCW and actually added the GP2 "pop, bang" to his map so it sounds like the GP now.

Very different N14 vs N18. Different software for different motors. The N18 GP might pop as much as a JCW N14.

i test drove the GP2. like it very much on how it handles, etc.
But need the back seats and NAV, mini connect for functional purposes.

So if I get the regular JCW and just swap out GP2 parts such as suspension, and tires, rear diffuser, and front strut bar... that should pretty much handle like a GP... not exactly like it, but close. and keep the ECU the same...

the GP2 suspension has more camber, how do i achieve that? if i buy the parts of GP2, is the camber already adjusted with top hats? and can the regular JCW's camber be adjusted more?

The main difference between the JCW and GP2 is the the GP has a slightly high compression, 6 pistons front brakes, coilovers and a ton of small cosmetic changes. I don't see a benefit to changing a JCW ECU to a GP map. My GP2 has been re-mapped with a 3rd party company and is night a day to how is was stock. I bought my GP because it was unique and was a good foundation to build off of.
If you want GP handling, there are much better aftermarket Coilovers than stock GP ones. I swapped my OEM C/O for KW's. I have a lower stance, more adjustability, smoother ride and better handling.

My friend just did a Manic stage 1 tune on his 13GP. Great gains all around. When I get mine which should be next week I am doing a stage 3 or 4 manic with turbo upgrade.

Mario
Beautiful car. Love the wheels.

If you want the GP2 Full suspension its here now. We have the full kit with the matched H&R springs just like the factory GP2. Comes with the adjustment tool also. Some guys already did the swap and were happy.
