I have a 03 MINI cooper s JCW, I am putting in a 15% reduction pulley and I have a Alta CAI already installed. This makes the " whine " super loud ( which I do not mind at all ). However, I want an exhaust that will complement that with an equally loud tone. The JCW exhaust is louder than the stock s but will these other two exhaust be louder than the JCW? Im leaning towards Magnaflow but I do like the sound of the Megan Racing I just want to know if it is louder than the JCW..... HELP PLEASE

 

I'm not sure about the Megan but the Magnaflow is probably the loudest for the R53.

 

The JCW is louder & much lighter than the stock MCS exhaust. I feel it flows very well & compliments the 15% pulley & CAI. That being said it is not too loud & that is why I like it. I'd recommend the Megan. Magnaflo is obnoxiously loud. My .02 because you asked.

 

ashchuckton- Do you have a megan racing exhaust? There's barely any videos of this system, and do you know if its louder than the JCW? Im looking for something that has more grunt " sound and power "

 

Sorry I have the JCW. I got the JCW at an incredible deal & couldn't pass it up. Had I not found the JCW deal I'd have bought the Megan. A friend has a Megan it sounds very nice. It is a quality piece. Yes it is louder than my JCW.
