I just had a JCW engine (and such) installed in my 05 MCS by the dealer. A new (old?) JCW is born and comes home tomorrow!

Yippie!

(now where do I get the JCW badge for my signature?)

Wow,
Well, as early 2005 R53's go it doesn't get more legit; dealer installed package.

Cheers

Surprisingly anti-climatic :(

The original engine had a 16% and stock MCS air box and exhaust. They feel and sound exactly the same. Perhaps the mapping wasn't done correctly. I'll investigate in about 2000kms.

Let me say that heat soak led to a surprisingly low point for me. Time will tell.
