Decided to use Konig from Alta. Do they need hubcentric rings or do they come with them. Also looking at using JCW center caps do you think they will work or look good?

I think you would be better addressed by asking your vendor.

17 x 7" Konig Feathers 4 x100, 40 offset I am running 215 45 ZR 17 cheapie Federal tires using NM springs on sport dampers. It just kisses the fender wells front and rear on large bumps with just me in the car, rubs on little stuff with passengers. No way could I go 225 (maybe on stock springs?). 205's do not rub and gas mileage takes a hit with these 215's even if you correct for the larger OD (so for sure my next tires are going to be 205's).

The track is just slightly wider with the 40 offset, fender gap is under an inch. Rubbing is very light, it does not leave a mark on the tire at all after 10k miles, only the plastic on the fender is starting to fray. (Those are 205's in the signature pic below).

These need hubcentric rings. I got these wheels for so cheap they made me buy them. I lost one at a tire shop when I got the 215's so I had to buy 2 sets!
