Has anyone flashed v.36 on a JCW MCS?

When I spoke to my service advisor, she advised against flashing v.36 on the MCS with JCW kit becuase she feels that there might be a conflict. Is that the case? If so, does that mean all the JCW will not be able to accept ANY new software updates?

I had the flash done on my JCW a while back. The engine is smoother than before but lately I've been experiencing the yo-yo and I'm not quite sure what to think. The dealer has told me (and I've asked) several times if it's OK to do the upgrade with the JCW and they've said yeah yeah no problem it does not interfere but now I'm a little skeptical. I'm going to stop by this afternoon.

Why would you want v.36? It's the same ECU made for the S? The JCW supposedly has a specifically tuned (although very little gains dyno-wise) program for it's mods.

I believe that the dealer selects a works option when they start to flash. Somtimes referred to as V36.1. I just had it done to my S Works and the car does seem to be smoother and the stumble is gone. Other issues still remain such as Yo-Yo and very sharp transitions when getting on and off the throttle. There does seem to be more power lower down the rev range.

I don't have stumble or yo-yo issues with my car. However, I did have problem maintaining cruise control speed, which supposedly could be resolved with the v.36. I think I'll play it safe and not update the software. I certainly don't want the stumble or yo-yo be introduced into my car with the new software flash.

Just to clarify the update to v36.1 on my Works S did NOT introduce any new issues. It got rid of the Stumble. The issues that I have now, the Yo-Yo and the sharp on/off throttle reactions, were there before I had the V36.1 update.
