Option 4FA order today JCW Recaro buckets

Well my fellow MINI afficionados, I am please to tell you that we can now order the super nice Recaro JCW bucket seats, the option code is 4FA priced @ $2750, basically 750 over championship leather.

I am not sure if it can be order on the regular HT or just the JCW version but I have some coming to me wrapped on pepperwhite red top.

being shown on the R59 Roadster JCW.

Cool I thought this wasn't coming until March. Now I might have to order mine a bit earlier.

I paid $2000 for my Championship Red leather. I'd have popped an extra $750 for these. I' still gonna get the Euro versions with the JCW logo on them though.

I sat in these seats yesterday and they are even nicer in person. Even the rear seats looked great.
I stopped by the dealership to see and sit in these because I wanted to sit in them before I ordered them. Glad I got to the dealership when I did, the Hardtop they were in was on the dealer lot for less than 24 hours and was sold. The new owner was filling out his paperwork as I was sitting in his new car.

The seats have Recaro John Cooper Works embossed on them, it looked really good. Sorry no pictures as it all happened so quickly (being the new owner was standing there) I didn't have my phone/camera with me.

I would be interested in how the new seats felt to you comfort-wise?

Also did the seats have power controls for adjustment or just standard mini controls.

Those seats look like the seats you can get in an Audi S4 or TTS (maybe the TTRS as well). They're comfortable, and supportive. Love the grippy alcantara.

I'd be interested in seeing some pics as well. I could change my JCW order at this point, but I think I'm going to hold out and just order (or buy used) the euro JCW recaros.

Great seats make a huge difference. I paid $3400 for the Recaros in my Cadillac. Would not have bought the car without them.

These are the seats in the car that you are bringing to the dragon right?

That's what I'm thinking. I won't be the first MINI person there with a non-MINI.

Can't wait to see this car. It is on my obtainable dream-car list, right next to a 335d.

Leather plus heated seats are $2500, or heated, leather Recaros at $2750... Not too bad in my opinion.

Motoringfile.com gave the recaros a glowing review. Gabe sat in a new Roadster with recaros and said that the look and feel was fantastic.

More bolstering in the sides and more cushioning in the seat bottom.

I sat in these today at our Mini dealership in Indy. They are awesome. Even my wife liked them...and that's saying something.

If anyone gets a chance and could snap a few photos of these it would be wonderful as the 3D renders dont seem to do the seats justice.

They havent shown up on the west coast yet, and Im still in talks with my MA about ordering them separate to put on Norbert the WC50, otherwise Ill have to go the previous European Recaro option.
