03 MCS JCW vs 07 Honda Civic Type R FD2 vs 97 Fiat Coupe 2.0 20VTurbo

I had a chance to race my 03 MCS JCW with my friend's Honda FD2 and a Fiat Coupe. My car have a decat header, 17%pulley, light crank pulley, and Cravenspeed CAI, and my friend's FD2 is in stock form with 225hp. The Coupe also have 250hp. My car seems to have a similar speed from 0-160km/h, but they took after 160km/h . Does anybody have these kind of experience before?

BTW, how much hp do I have with these kind of setup ?

No way to tell your HP unless you dyno it. Might fare better with Injectors and a tune.

Hi Howsonisnow,

Do you know if my car need an ECU update to get it run properly if I am going to get a 440 Injectors?

Adrian

You are unlikely to find many people on this board with such a comparative experience because most of the members here are in the USA, and the Honda and Fiat you raced against are not available in the USA.

Unfortunately our cars are shaped rather like bricks so the faster you go the more horsepower is required.....

My next modification is a camshaft, do I need to have 380injector to run it properly?

Yes with 440s need a tune for sure. 380mm you would maybe want JCW tune from dealer at least.

Cam would be next step, but if you want 250+ Wheel Horse Power you need cam and Head work. Here is more info: http://www.revolutionmini.com/
