MCS JCW Tuning Kit conv vs factory JCW conv, 0-60, 1/4 mile times?

I have a 2009 MCS convertible JCW stage 1. I am wondering how it compares to the factory JCW convertible. Does anyone know the 0-60, and 1/4 mile times between the two. And more importantly, does the factory JCW conv. feel alot faster in normal daily driving around town, stop and go traffic, some highway, than the stage 1 car. I love my car, but I always want to have the top of line model of any car, the fastest of any model. For example, you could buy a V6 mustang, or a shelby GT500. I bought the shelby, as what is important to me is the power, the look, the options, and having the top of the line car. If I was a corvette guy, I would only buy a Z06, not a regular corvette. (Maybe a ZR1 now). You get the point.

I might have some remorse, thinking I should have just bought the factory JCW instead. I am afraid to test drive a factory JCW convertible, because I might think, "wow that is alot faster than my car, and alot more fun, should have bought that". I already know of the difference in price, there is the handling issue, etc. but this is my daily driver, or commuter. Anyone have first hand experience between the two, and any concrete numbers between the two in 0-60, etc.?

Another question is resale value. I think the factory JCW will retain increased value as there is a line item for it on the trade in books. Nothing for add ons.

Thanks for everyone's reply ... I think I have a normal Cooper S with the JCW Aero Package and JCW Springs (there red) and the car appears to be lower. I'll post pics later today ... once again thanks.

You really should drive a factory JCW. Don't be afraid.

I have driven a couple of JCW factory cars and I am (still) a very happy owner of a JCW tuned MINI with JCW aero kit, JCW suspension, mechanical LCD and very light wheels. (similar to the car that is highlighted in the motoringfile comparison)

Just drive one and make your own decision!

if you get the perfect launch and conditions the factory will be about .2sec faster down the 1/4 and 0-60.
