JCW JCW Suspension vs KW & M7
JCW Suspension vs KW & M7
I have R56s 08 version.
For better widing, I would like to change suspension.
I am thinking JCW suspension + JCW Spring kit. But I did not have opportunities experiencing JCW suspension equpped MINI. I am curious about it.
How do you guys compare JCW suspension+JCW stabilizer+JCW Spring with original R56s suspension, KW V2-V3, M7 suspension I think that JCW kit needs more sportness.
Reason I choose JCW kit is becasue of stabilizer. Is it worhwhile?
I don't do circuit. I do hardcore mountain road winding.
Any opinion will be appreciated.

327 views and no responses? no one has any insight on this? I'm in the market for a new JCW and am trying to decide if I should go JCW suspension or go aftermarket. Like sims156, I don't track or autoX but i do spend lots of time in the canyon twisties
any more insight would be helpful.
thanks

I have KW v3 struts from TSW on my '09 JCW with a MINI D front bar, TSW 19mm solid rear bar, Hsport rear control arms, TSW adjustable endlinks, and Ireland Engineering camber plates. Huge improvement in handling over stock JCW suspension as you would expect with a significantly firmer ride as you would also expect. Car is my DD as well as used for local, regional, and national autocross.

Don't go with cheap crap, go with either KW, Bilstein, AST or Koni shocks, and get a 19mm rear bar (IMO you don't need more than that, but others may agree), and get front camber plates. Adjustable endlinks are also a good idea while you're at it.
JCW suspension would be a nice upgrade, but I'd only get it right from the start, if you're going to go aftermarket, go with non-OEM.
PM me if you'd like any other opinions
