JCW shift knob owners- need feedback!

I'm considering the JCW knob with Alcantara and would like to hear from anyone who has had it, especially for several months. How is the Alcantara holding up? How was the installation? Do you like the knob overall and would you recommend it? Thanks for any feedback.

Here's one!

I have had the knob installed for almost a year now and am very happy with it. The alcantara is holding up just fine, and it never heats up in the summer or goes stone cold in the winter. Install was your standard 5 seconds...put in second gear...pull off old knob....align the groove, push on new knob. All in all very comfortable on a daily driver.
