Window Tints

Is this where I would want to go to have my windows tinted?

http://www.clearviewtinting.com/

If not please leave any suggestions for the NW Ohio/NE Indiana/SE Michigan areas.

Thanks. Chris.

I went to a local Zebart Dealer. I have had 3 cars done by these folks and am very pleased with their work. Chec k your local area for one.

Hey thanks, do they use 3M? or is it something else? clearview is a 3M dealer do you think that zebart or 3M would be better?
Thanks again. Chris.

I did mine myself. Went here http://www.snaptint.com/ and bought the tint. I will say the rear was a pain to do. I mucked it up the first time, waiting for a replacement piece so I can finish. Sides windows were easy though. Took me about 2 hours total. Not bad for under $100. Looks really good even without the rear window done.

wow..those prices for the precut ones are almost outrageous. not to flame on them or anything. just. you can buy a whole roll of film for about that price. (the complete one that is)
but back to ChrisMCS04.
it isn't always the BEST to get 3m. it all depends on where you're gettin it done. but just shop around. ask them wat film they use. price. how long they take.(shouldnt take more than an hour and a half..i can tint it by myself within an hour) and dont always go for the cheapest place or the most expensive.
if you have any other questions feel free to ask me. (i tint car windows..if you havent noticed so far yet..)

I was wondering the same thing. I am in south west Michigan and was looking for a place to tint windows. I know there is a "Mr. Tunes" in Ann Arbor that says they tint for 99 bucks, but I know nothing about their tinting service. They are, however, very nice people to work with when you're trying to find a wiring kit for upgrading your audio system.

Good luck finding a good place!

Why you would want to tint your own windows to save $20-$30 is beyond me.

Pro Window Tint in Ypsisalti, MI did a great job on mine. 18% all around for $155.
