These are called Mini Cove styling kits and come in various colors- not really true woody. More like colored oval side stickers.
http://www.vwwoody.com/Products/bmw_...i001/mi001.htm

Also they sell various colored competition stripes

Thanks for the link

I mean to each his own, but I would never put something like that on my Mini. It blows me away that someone would (wood) think that it looks good!

Now......where did I put those flames decals......

The web site copy says: "an attractive addition that will separate your Mini from the norm."
I'm surprised that there is a need to separate a MINI from the norm. Isn't that what's owning a MINI is already about? Now, if I had a PT Cruiser, there would be need to seperate from the norm. But for me, I'll pass on the oval side stickers for now.

A GREAT DESIGN.....
I'm sure the guy who designed that... Tore out that TV GUIDE Ad, Drew Skippy AND the Pirate, Mailed it in, Got the letter accepting his Multi-Thousand Dollar Enrollment, Enrolled, Graduated a year later, Was asked to become a "teacher", then Landed a Job at the local 7-11, Then his Father NEEDED a graphic to sell to New MINI Owners, Told his Graphics team that his son is an ARTIST, they give him the task, he accepts, Telling all his friends "See, now I get paid to be an artist", Quits his 7-11 job, Designs the awful Oval for his father, His Father is so proud, His father's Graphics team is in awe, They Release the Oval decal, They Sell Zero but that's ok, it's only been 3 weeks, 3 Months later they still have their inventory of 50,000 Oval Decals, The Father FIRES his Marketing team and his Webmaster. Wonder who'll get the axe when they read this?

Like I said

A GREAT DESIGN

David R., Do you really have two BRG Minis (MINIS) with white tops? That is very cool. I think if you put a set of S-Lite wheels on the new one they would look even better together. By the way, my Cooper S is BRG/W. I thought that was the quintessential Mini combo.

I'd pass on the s-lites (too heavy) and go directly for the Panasports. BTW, I love your cars...

The ovals are color shift material. To tell the truth they don't look any better in person than on the web. They're also expensive! Stripes from these guys are $249 + install!! Color shift stripes, $449!! I'll be buying from Cooper Flags.

btw, They do have a "Woody" kit for the MINI. You don't want to know how much.

DeMinimus,

The little one is my son's car and the huge one is mine. His is a '63 that has been reshelled and it has a '79 Rover engine in it. It is a tiny engine, but it puts out 83hp! I gotta admit, we do look pretty cute parked on the street in front of our house, gets lotsa looks.

Since he had a white over green I thought it only fitting to carry on the family tradition!

Just to maintain some sort of "balance" and to have some fun stirring it up...

I LIKE it! why not? I wouldn't do it myself, but I think it's cool looking. But then again I got smushed by ya'll when I liked that yellow woody at the car show...remember that one?

I think that the more options for the MINI the better. Someone will always be able to do something cool with it. I think the biggest mistake for that company is the color choice they used on the site...green on yellow?

Anyway...there you have it...another MINI opinion!
