sweet man, everytime i drive in my friends mini with racing seats i constantly feel like a baby in a glorified car seat... its so snug and strapped in, all i need is a dummy and i'd be set! they look good though, congrats on your purchase!

A 3.9V resister works perfectly jammed into the seat-airbag sensor - keeps the light from coming on...

Need to pictures in the car!!!

I've got a Sparco Evo2 in mine and I love it....a second one is on the way soon...with the rear seats coming out in short-order as well...

(hurrah! that was my 1000th post!)

Thanks for the tip!

I will have to buy the side mounts and sliders but winter got here yesterday so I won't be able to enjoy my new seats for like 6months.

I'll get some pics of them in the car as soon as possible, sometime during the winter. Anyone got some nice harness to recommend as well?

I'm also throwing the rear seats out.

I had Recaro's years ago on a VW Scirocco...they were by far the most comfortable, secure seats I've ever had. They made you feel like you were part of the car. Good luck with them!

It's about damn time! They look great. They would look even better in the car. You should make one into a gamer's chair.

Recaro A8's

Hey now, nice seats.....can I ask what bracket/rails your gonna use? I've got a set Recaro A8's in black leather and I'm having trouble finding the correct setup for a Mini....I'm also in same boat as I'll probably wait till spring/summer before I install cuz I'm really diggin my OEM heated seats.....pretty sure I saw a site that sells the heating kit but I didn't save as a favorite so I can't remember where I saw it......take a look at what I'm putting in.....what do ya'll think?? These pics were taken before I had them retrimmed in Porsche black leather :)
