I think that last one looks great, and I love how creative you're being with your car. The suggestions people have made about the wheel arches seem to be the key to the look to me.

Umm... no. I don't like it. To each his own, but I really think you should just go back to DS skirts.

back ...to the beginning

DS skirts ... are back....
Color is not 100% but 95+ fersure...lol

And....
now it's time to make some PS checks

I was also think'n on a vinyl wrap for... the entire A panel and the side skirts.
2 reasons....
-Protection... it would also function as a clear skin of sorts.
-Consistency of color/pattern... it should totally eliminate issues of color matching

Peace,
D

Great until you go to remove wrapped area to find a fade in the finish . My vinyl shop has told me many times about the steaming effect you get with vinyl wraps. Will look great but you change things around just as much as I do so thinking ahead is always good for us.

If it were me, w/o limitations on money. I would be having all the back trim on the bottom of the car painted to match the silver roof, and now aero side skirts. Be sure if you go this direction to have someone prime, and then block sand the back as to get rid of all the texture the plastic has....I think this would look AMAZING!

Thinking only about the appearance itself (without considering how to achieve it, via vinyl, paint, whatever...), my preference would be to (at least) bring the checks down into the rocker panels. Your vinyl wrap would do that. Also, I'm a fan of fades and blended edges, so my preference would be to incorporate something like that also. I guess the vinyl wrap would give you a lot of control over that too. So, yeh, it could work, at least until you moved it later (seeK9MINI's message).
