Mini Mania's roof antenna kit
 

I ordered "Anti-Theft Areal Antenna Kit" a month ago and am still wating for the shipment. In the past, they said it would come on Oct-14th, then never come. Once again they said on Oct-27th, but never come and I'm still waiting for it. I don't know about the demand of this part, but my next concern is its quality and Mini Mania's poor responsiveness.

I would appreciate a lot if you could disclose your experience with Mini Mania's antenna.(It may not be a direct Mini Mania's product, though...)
Any problem during the installation process? etc.

I bought a similar looking antenna from ebay but it wasn't of the anti-theft type. I really wouldn't want the anti-theft for this reason -I used to have a problem with people stealing the antenna off my GTI until I got the wise idea of using some Locktite. They did $800 worth of damage and still got the antenna :mad:

Bummer.https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s/NAMfrown.gif Since someone stole our antenna, I've been concerned about this and never thought about locktite. That would seem to work. I've never heard of anyone buying the antitheft antennas. It would seem to me they are cheap enough not to buy a fancy one only to have some do major damage to the roof!

I called Mini Mania again today. They said they were still waiting for the product and November 11th would be the expected date to get it. But it was the third time they postponed!
It's more than a month since I placed the order.
They always says that is the supplier problem...

I just can't believe this situation. :mad:
