Carbon Fiber Hood Scoop from BBM

I picked up the proto-type carbon hood scoop from Bay Bridge about a month ago and just got around to taking pictures of it. I think it looks awsome!!! Huge carbon weave!! Whattya think?!?!?

I like it better than the other aftermarket scoops I've seen. It may not be as functional, but I like the way it looks.

Yes nice looking. The side view make me think of a mouth, I'd have to put a fake tongue hanging out when I parked.

I like it better than the other offerings.

Don't have exact dimensions...

but I saw this at Big Mini Day. They claim 30%-40% increased airflow over stock.....

BBM is currently working on perfecting this scoop, like I said, this is the proto-type and has some small defects such as resin setting and exact fit. I am guessing it will retail for around $300+. PM me for more info.

scoop

I'm curious, did you retain the original black plastic liner that mates to the factory scoop?

I would be interested in the scoop... but I am not a big fan of CF (don't shoot me)... I would like OEM colors

i feel all C/F bitz should be of this "big weave" sample.

totally feelin' that on my end, i've seen that JCW one it's one of the best ones i've seen but has no improvements on either its intake diameter or height so not much of an improvement there other than looks, i dont know that i would like that big weave cuz it would not match weave on C/F bonnets.

usually i would like big weaves but not in this case cuz it took long enogh for a good C/F bonnet to be made... with standard weave- -can only imagine how long it will take to get a big weave sample to match bonnet scoop....know what i mean.
when's ur site due to be up the scoop goes 4 $200- on 'roadfly' allready could u' do better mayb no shippin' iknow it mayb to much to ask but hey, it never hurts to be cheap sometimes....

Excessive use of the number 2 aside, I would also be curious about any news on the BBM scoop. I'd like a scoop that grabs a bit more air, but the m7 one is a bit extreme for me. Plus I love the CF Any news would be good, as I am tempted to just buy the JCW cf scoop.

Their site is http://www.baybridgemotors.com/ but they don't seem to have any info related to the scoop on there :(
