Hyper Blue body color fuel door cover?
 

Hi,

Being the kind of "non-chrome, non-bling" guy that I am, I'm interested in swapping out my MCS's chrome fuel door cover for a flush, body-color unit.

Trouble is, I really don't want to buy one from BMW/MINI parts unless it's pre-painted in Hyper Blue... because I don't want to go to the hassle of color matching it.

Two questions:

1) Is it a direct swap? I imagine it is, since the body color fuel door comes on all 3 of the other models (MC, MCC and MCSC).
2) Are there any owners of a Hyper Blue MC, MCC or MCSC who might be interested in doing a trade? Some people like the chrome bling, I guess, and since it's exclusive to the MCS (non-convertible), I imagine that there might be decent interest.

I don't think you can put an MCS gas cap on any of the Convertibles. Something about clearance due to additional bracing. So your best bet would be a MC.

We might be interested. Our Hyper Blue should be hitting the dealership late next week with Lola picking it up the following Wednesday. Shoot me an e-mail with the picture of tel fuel lid you are refering to, just to make sure it is the one I am thinking of.
