“Dipping” My 05 MCS

Hey guys and gals! So I am plastidipping my 05 MCS and wanted to poll something:

Should I dip the fender flares, side skirts, and bumper trims the same color, or leave them in black as they are?

I am torn. I am a fan of it both ways honestly. The contrast of the black trim is very Mini, but I do also enjoy mostly body colored trim. Tough choice!!

I am keeping the black roof and pillars, and will just be dipping it from the bottom of the window line down. I am doing a Frozen Blue from DYC. Do tell...what would you do in my shoes? Thanks!!

In general, I don't like when the plastic trim is painted. Are you planning on sanding all the trim smooth? If not, I would be concerned that the texture of the plastic would show through after being sprayed and then you'd have everything one color but different textures. That doesn't sound good to me.

Its plastidip, so the texture difference doesn’t matter. It will come out to the same surface texture in the end. One of the beauties of dipping it.

Okay. I wasn't sure how thick it ended up. Since you can peel it off if you don't like it, why not dip one of the front arches and see what you think?

Yeah that was a thought if mine...I may do that. That is the beauty of dipping a car. You can change it.
